Dr. Dacia Napier was born in Guam and grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. She has an undergraduate degree from Rice University and attended medical school at The University of Texas Houston. After graduating medical school, Dr. Napier moved to San Antonio to complete residency and fellowship training at the UT Health Science Center, where she later became Chief resident, and then Associate Professor. Dr. Napier is a previous partner, and past president, of the M and S Imaging Associates in San Antonio. During her time with M and S Imaging Associates, she was also Chief of Radiology at North Central Baptist Hospital San Antonio. Dr. Napier has been with Avestée Women’s Imaging Center of Alamo Heights since the very beginning and loves the contact with patients and the ability to spend time with each patient she sees. She believes in treating the mind and the body by working to decrease anxiety through the experience Avestée provides. In her free time, Dr. Napier enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
